In MHO this clamp has a very simple design and is well engineered to hold a large pair of binoculars, 20x50 in my case. The jaws have plastic inserts to prevent damage to the binoculars. The construction of the base suggests it possibly has other uses other than screwing onto a tripod ... no instructions or product descriptions came with the item. Word of advice ... make sure you have a heavy duty tripod capable of securing what is afterall a heavy cantilever load.

The Superclamp is well constructed and I'm using it with a fairly standard sized pair of 10 x 50 binoculars (Bushnell legend). The problem I find with this clamp is that the jaw doesn't open very wide and clamp sufficiently around the binoculars. It does just about work but I'm worried there is not enough grip around them. Would have liked a wider jaw.

This mount is heavy but is very effective for holding binoculars on a camera tripod with plenty of movement when required. It will suit virtually any binoculars, since it clamps around them rather than depending on any particular screw thread.
