This album represents true rock n roll, and one of the best records that came out of the 80s/90s, without a doubt this is the best White Lion Album ever, and it isn't popular.. what a surprise. Well... just try the songs, it's unbelievable how many great tracks are in this record, 'Love Don't Come Easy' ... amazing solo, Vito makes the guitar sound like no one else dripping melody all over the tune.
One of the few times that I will say a re-recording was worth is in 'Broken Heart' here, this song is just plain great and the additional production made it better (believe it or not). The 'Blue Monday' instrumental blows me away, the ballads will always bring my hair up 'You are all I need' is just perfect... I can tell you this melodic american rock at its best.
Close with Farewell to you ... or the the rocker 'Lights & Thunders' ... the songwriting of Tramp/Bratta blends perfectly, great vocal melodies with astonishing guitars. The rhythmic sections never get mentioned and both D'Angelo & Lomenzo kick A** in this album and to be honest all the others.
I can say very little else... this is a record that defined an era for me and many more people, it is just in waiting mode to explode one day to earn the 'classic' tag that it deserves.
