DVD Description

‘Football? Bloody Hell!’ gasped Fergie after the greatest 3 minutes in the history of sport. The Gods in Red had done it again - snatching victory from the jaws of defeat to produce the most amazing comeback of all time. But THAT match was only the climax to an incredible season. Fergie’s Reds enjoyed a 33 game unbeaten run, including a dramatic last day success over Spurs to secure the Premiership; overcame arch-rivals Liverpool, Arsenal and Newcastle to clinch victory in the FA Cup; and heroically defeated the giants of European football, Inter Milan and Juventus, before the astonishing last-gasp triumph over Bayern Munich to become the first team ever to win The Treble.

Including unique dressing room footage from before and after the most dramatic night in European football, and featuring every goal from every game. Now digitally re-mastered, this is probably the greatest football DVD ever.

It just doesn’t get any better than this!

Be Warned...

The only thing 're-mastered' about this dvd, is the new cover.

If you have the original Treble dvd, don't waste your money on this identical replica.
(If you haven't already got it, then consider this to be a 4-star review, as it's got it all there, even though it's presented less impressively than it deserves).

Bad Points:
A) The format is the old 'square' 4x3, not widescreen (that could easily have been fixed when they 're-mastered' the cover sleeve).
B) The video footage quality is 'poor'!!! (Other dvd's with 1999 footage on, is far superior in quality... maybe they hooked up two VCR's with Scart sockets, to transfer the footage... when they 're-mastered' the new cover).
C) It has Rob McCaffrey's 'fake-commentary' splattered throughout... (I'm sure clued-up footy fans will understand... ie: 'pass the sick bucket')

A very poor tribute overall, particularly considering the wealth of truly amazing footage available to the editors.

For those who don't own the dvd Version 1: Yes, buy it (it's worth £6 or £7 quid; and far more, if the editor had been competant)
For those who DO own the dvd Version 1: Don't waste your money, this re-issue is an attemp to cheat you with the words 'Re-Mastered'

Nice one 10 Feb 2010
By riv
I had the trebel VCD, but decided to buy the DVD, it said this is the remake. Well the picture is clearer than the VCD version, i enjoy to watch it. But i'm a bit confused why not all scenes being re mastered. I mean i noticed that whenever there a replay of a goal or something in the video, it is still the old format.

The Treble 15 Aug 2010
By Boz
For any Manchester Utd fan, this is simply brilliant. What a season, even megabucks Chelsea and City can't match this.
