Review

Calm, lucid and encouraging. Bridges' book remains a classic years after it first appeared - praise indeed in a time of great change. His range of anecdotes and quotations is impressive, his arguments logical and persuasive. --Management Today

Great book 7 Aug 2010
Format:Paperback
I have read a mountain of books on change. If you only want to read one book on the psychology of change then read this one. It is clear about how people deal with change, where they are in their personal transition and what you can do to help.

I am a psychologist, trainer and mentor and work in training and development. I found this a really useful book to add to my knowledge and to the way in which I help organisations manage change. This is well worth reading by all leaders, managers and HR personnel who are about to embark on any changes processes within their business. The earlier in the process the better! It would also help individuals recognise some of the features and stages of the transitions they may be experiencing at a personal level. Highly recommended.

Managing Transitions 10 Feb 2011
By jsw
Format:Paperback
Excellent book for anyone involved with organisational change, to understand the difference between the practical elements of change and the psychological stages that people have to go through to move through the change processes sucessfully. Lots of useful 'quotes' and examples that I have sucessfully incorporated into group work and 'Managing Change' workshops that have made the sessions much more personal and interactive.
