From the Back Cover

Managing Business Finance offers a concise and analytical introduction to the basics of financial management. The text is based on The Essence of Financial Management, and the general flavour and aims of the original book remain unchanged, focusing on core issues in finance and their relationship to the business world.
Developing the text outside the confines of the Essence series of books has allowed more scope for the inclusion of new material-
· Problems have been included with solutions given at the back of the book
· More emphasis on international issues
· New sections on financial regulation, efficient markets, the equity risk premium, accounting for acquisitions and mergers and foreign exchange risk.
Managing Business Finance is aimed primarily at MBA and undergraduate students who want an insight into the key issues of financial management. The book is also an invaluable source of reference for managers and aspiring managers taking short courses or simply wishing to improve their knowledge and skills.
D.R. Myddelton, MBA, FCA, is Professor of Finance and Accounting at the Cranfield School of Management.

Format:Paperback
Most books on Financial Management are American based while this one is very European. It is very easy to understand for someone with little corporate finance exposure as well as makes easy reading. Myddelton uses layman terms in describing theories and practices than jargons which makes it "friendly" and apprachable. He also covers a good number of examples that are very British. Definitely a must for Financial Management students.
