The book covers all the major details that many books leave. Although the publish date of 1989 can be seen as a problem, this book covers the theories that hold true today.

For insight and knowledge, buy this book.

Very Good & Concise Summary of IT Strategy Frameworks 16 Mar 1998
By A Customer - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Hardcover
Michael has provided us with a very good preview of the various types of frameworks by which we can analyse our organization and/or industry in accordance to our business and IT strategy. I must admit what the books lacks in in depth it makes up for its very broad outline of IT strategy. A must read for those hoping to sound or preach like an IT strategy guru in the minimal time. Lastly, although the book is a bit outdated, I have yet to find another updated version which matches it in its compactness and conciseness which is rarely combined in such an eloquent manner. Maybe the author should consider an updated of the current book.
