Product Description

The benchmark text for the syllabus organisd by technology (a week on databases, a week on networks, a week on systems development, etc.) taught from a managerial perspective. BEA2005 Course text 2 Oct 2011
Format:Paperback
I have been using this text in my classes for a number of years having examined and reviewed many alternative texts. Content in this latest edition has been brought right up to date and the book is very well structured. It delivers a broad view of the topics that virtually all undergraduate courses in MIS need to cover. (especially mine!)

This book is for a class I am taking at Keiser University. It is very informative and explains everything in layman's terms - very helpful for class.

Should be required for non-tech MBA students 30 Sep 2011
By Rich Sanders - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Hardcover|Amazon Verified Purchase
Coming from a tech background, the concepts and ideas presented in this book were not new. I feel it is an excellent selection for a non-tech MBA student, or for anyone wanting a high level overview of multiple areas on management information systems.
Gives text books a bad name 25 Nov 2011
By Kapitalist - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Hardcover|Amazon Verified Purchase
Has all "structured" information but is not conducive to actually learning the material. I know academic books are not meant to be "interesting" but if you need some sleep, read a chapter.
