A bit of a drag 21 Sep 2003
Format:Paperback
This book did not live up to the recommendations on the cover. These claimed it was paced like a thriller - I did not feel this. Although we were kept wondering about one point until the end - this seemed the only thing that kept us reading. There seemed to be no coherent plot.

On the flip side - the writing itself was catching - a narrator you wanted to know more about, and clearly developed and intriguing characters.

All in all, if you must read this, read for people not plot.
