Product Description

Mike Binder-directed comedy drama starring Ben Affleck as Jack Giamoro, a successful and unscrupulous Hollywood agent who finds his cushy existence threatened when he discovers that his wife Nina (Rebecca Romijn) is having an affair with his top client, and that his diary has been stolen by an ambitious reporter, Barbi (Bai Ling), out to land the year's biggest story - and bring Jack crashing down in the process. As he struggles to keep his life together in the face of adversity, Jack embarks on a soul-searching existential journey, in the course of which he slowly starts to realise that nothing in life is as important as his family life and personal fulfillment.

4.0 out of 5 stars Excellent 25 Mar 2012

Excellent value, humour and performance by all players. Imaginative scenario and script! Very entertaining and unusual film. Can be viewed on repeated occasions especially to take in the sequences and dialogue.

1.0 out of 5 stars Boring 22 Jan 2010
Format:DVD
This film is probably the worse buy I have ever made. More about actors pulling funny faces than anything else. Watched about 25 mins, then switched it off & then chucked the DVD away. No way that I want anyone to find this sorry piece of rubbish in my collection.

1.0 out of 5 stars Corny contrived and says nothing about nothing 18 Mar 2007
By Ben Vex
Format:DVD
How is Ben Affleck so remarkable at choosing the most mundane and irritating movies? This film was a complete non-film - it tries to be alot, say alot, but instead does neither and comes across as a total mixed bag. In a film that is neither funny nor insightful, a scene pops up that seems like an outtake from Anchorman with a team of chinese chefs about to face off with a bunch of executives in kung fu poses. With no context, the scene falls flat on its face. Towards the end this film tries to become slapstick and clever, and is so painfully inconsistent and contrived that I actually felt angry. I dont know why this hasnt been released in the UK yet, but believe me, its a good thing.
