I have to say that I completely disagree with the previous reviewer!
I got a Mamascarf from the baby show just before my 4th child, because (unlike the previous reviewer) I didn't want to wear two tops, I found it much easier to pull one top down, which then meant that my whole boob would normally be exposed.
For my previous 3 children I made do with a muslin over my shoulder and the baby, but there's always a point where the muslin falls off, or the baby pulls it off to have a look around and then you're sat there nipple out!
I saw this at the baby show and like the fact that it folded up small, but also supported the baby's head which is a godsend when you're out and don't have a pillow to lean on.
I agree that we should all be proud to breastfeed - I certainly am, but still prefer to be modest about it if possible, and the Mamascarf helps with that.

Dont bother with this it is just a big triangle of fabric, you could just use a large square scarf, just fold it into a triangle and tie up the ends round your neck, put the baby inside the scarf and thats it, I bought one when my baby was a newborn and I was still worried about feeding in public, but i returned it when i saw it was just a piece of fabric. The problem with all these breastfeeding modesty scarves ect is that they are annoying to sort out and put on when your babies hungry and faffing about with a scarf when your baby is crying for food just draws more attention...what I have realised is its quicker, easier and more discrete to just wear two tops, pull one up over boob and one under and then put baby on, no one will notice, if they do they wont say anything even if they do have a problem with breastfeeding in public because everyone is too polite to dare, and most people will be supportive...be bold you have the complete support of the law to breastfeed anywhere you need to, its illigal to discriminate a breastfeeding mother, be proud that you are doing the best for your child, if more woman where breastfeeding in public then it would be easier for all new mums, I wasted so much time when my baby was first born feeling worried about breastfeeding in public and not going certain places and then I realised it was silly now I go where ever I want and happily breastfeed in public.

I bought it for my son when he was 8 weeks old (hes now 10weeks), after a pregnant friend told me about it. I'll admit that I wasn't expecting much as a lot of pregnancy/baby items seem to be a waste of money. Boy I was wrong! I love it! I use it when ever I'm not at home and for me it's more about the support it offers, the cover up is an added bonus!

Waste of money

Waste of money
