The reason for the price drop on this activity centre is two fold.
1. The new version uses obviously poor parts. The plastic is lighter and thinner than before and so buckles easily. Expect your child to suffer when a leg collapses.
2. Many of the supplied units are missing wheels from the seat.
The baby's seat is meant to have wheels that run in a race at the top of the unit. For some reason about 50% of all new versions of this are missing the wheels. This makes it almost impossible for the baby to turn round in the way the product originally intended. Note: I am not talking about the whole unit moving, it's not made for that. I am specifically talking about the rotating seat which cannot rotate without the wheels.
M&P know there is a problem (confirmed by customer service) and so dropped the price in the hope many customers would not complain. Add that to overall poor customer service and you are just asking for a headache.
