I ordered this dolls house for my daughter who is almost 2 and half. It arrived within a few days and only took about 15 mins to assemble. It is absolutely perfect and would thoroughly recommend the house and the seller. The furniture is nice and chunky for little hands and she has already had hours of play with it. Everything comes in well packed boxes and furniture has detail such as a vase with flowers for the dining room table and a lovely standard lamp.

This looked very similar to a product I had seen in a local shop, though that one was minus the dolls and furniture.

The package arrived on Friday 30th May but I was unable to check it due to an all day appointment. Checked on Saturday morning and found that there were cuts/dents in the outer packaging and, upon opening that, found the main box containing the product had tears and holes in it near the top opening. Once all taken out of the packaging there did not seem to be any damage however there was no furniture as described on Amazon in the package - the dolls were. I notified Amazon and they arranged the product to be collected for return to them on Monday 2nd June - DPD collected it just before 09:00.

Luckily this dolls house is for our granddaughter's 3rd birthday in September so I am pleased that I ordered in good time to be able to return the item without disappointing her in letting her see the house.

I can't fault Amazon on the way they handled this problem but, nonetheless, very disappointed that the problem could have arisen.

Amazon no longer supply this product direct, though there is a marketplace seller who does. The expression 'once bitten twice shy' sprang to mind and I did not seek a replacement - just a refund which was in my bank account by 4th June.

By pure chance we went back to the local shop where we saw the dolls house I referred to above and ended up buying a bigger product that had been selling at £184.99 a couple of weeks back but reduced on that day to £69.99. No hesitation in buying it although my wife and myself have ended up spending a tiny fortune on buying the furniture for it.

Finally, thank you to Amazon for the speed and courtesy with which they handled this problem but 'no thank you' to the supplier. Hopefully others have better luck.

I bought this for my 4 yr old girl and its brilliant. Dont get me wrong, a couple of the wooden bits have fallen off (easily glued) and the dolls are way too big but for the money, its packed with furniture and the house itself is really pretty inside & out.

Well I must say I was so very pleased when I finally found this house. It has everything I could have hoped for and more.

This time last year David and Gary lived in a caravan in a field of lamas in Stoke. They never thought they would be able to afford to live nearer the family and we didn't have the funds to help them.
We started applying for loans and mortgages to see what we could afford if we clubbed together. Then one day whilst looking at Pyramid Colour Changing alarm clocks on amazon I found a beautiful period townhouse. With a little saving I knew that we could afford it if the whole family helped out.
I must admit I had a few doubts when I couldn't get an estate agent to show us around but it was this house or nothing, so we went for it.
I was nervous when the moving date came and we still had not seen the house, but it was perfect. We had a master bedroom, the children's bedroom, lounge, dining room, bathroom and kitchen and to my delight it was all fully furnished!! WOW we had really landed on our feet. I especially like the beautiful wooden dining room table.
We really didn't mind the lack of a garden or that we didn't have a garage. Its fantastic overall.
The first day we moved in I contacted the local authorities about the colour of the house, I would prefer a more "stony" colour but they said that as it is grade 2 listed and we need to keep it pink to fit in with the "character of the village".
But really, I would recommend the house so much. Its been a life changing experience for the whole family.

My 3 year old daughter loves it. It comes woth lots of furniture and is pretty decent build quality. However, it would be better if the roof was hinged rather than detatched.

This house looked great but in reality it is anything but. I would have it returned it only for the it was bought as a Santa present and I did not have time to look for another house as I only opened it with 3 days to go before Christmas. The house is so poorly manufactured. Awful instructions. Most of the pre-drilled guide holes for the screws did not line up with the adjacent section to which it was to be screwed to. There should have been a lot more screws to make the house more rigid which without fitting additional screws the house would eventually come apart when lifting. The two hinged front sections, when in the open position either trail off the surface to which the house is sitting on (large opening section) or cannot open back fully (small opening section) therefore just asking to be broken by a kid when playing. The framing/panelling of the main sections of the house were glued together and will come apart easily. The internal dividing walls are fixed to the ceiling above and stop short of the floor, therefore not fixed and again asking to be broken. Minor detail but still worth mentioning, both stairs are about 25mm too short for each floor.

Lastly and in some way probably the worst issue was the blood stains on the floors. Whoever handled the item must have cut their hand without wiping it clean.

I cannot see this piece of cr@p lasting much into the new year. Very disappointed with this purchase. Avoid at all costs.
