Is this version a legitimate copy? Malwarebytes Pro costs more than £30. I cannot believe that such a populr product can legitimately be priced so low. Happy to be proved wrong.

I must confess that I was mistaken about this product.
When I purchased it, I had thought it was a regular
Anti-Virus security software. IT IS NOT!
What makes it special is that it is a supplementary
protection to catch threats that are not detected or
removed by your already installed anti-virus software.
I had on occasion used the free downloadable Malwarebytes
product when I suspected that my BT Net Protect Plus
which works in association with McAfee was not finding
all of the potentially dodgy bugs that can find their
way into a PC. The free version of Malwarebytes works
fine, but for less than £10 you can buy your own disc
and the Activation Code that brings the product to
PRO Lifetime, giving you access to technical support.
Since purchasing Malwarebytes-Pro Lifetime it has found one
or two items that have been missed by my already installed
security.This gives a more reassuring feeling when on line
and helps keep my PC secure.

My wife suffered a serious Trojan attack recently - so serious that her credit card company closed her account. It was not picked up by AVG Free. When I ran Malwarebytes Free , it found and removed it immediately. I immediately decided to trial the Pro version, which adds real time protection while you are surfing. Even with a voucher code, it costs £31 (for two computers) from Malwarebytes. Two of these CDs cost £17. As another reviewer said, if you already have the Free or Trial version installed, all you have to do is key in the Activation Code that comes with the CD. Job done!
