The principles of malt evaluation are explained, and the effect of altering malting conditions summarized. I have referred this book for all my assignments, to clear my concepts on malting and to look into the technological aspects of malting. I am also using it for my research project on distiller's mash. A precise description on the types of malt and adjuncts clears concepts regarding their use in the brewing process. The use of coloured pictures of equipment and use of flow charts with illustrations would make things much more clear and easy to understand. A must-have book for a practical brewer and maltster.

I did not go through the contents of the book. However, as my local saying goes (when translated to English)"a good bread is judged on an oven", the contents of the book provide a wealth of information on malting. I am very eager to get it. But beyond my reach distance wise.
