The version I received has a different cover - not important, but I was surprised at how small it was, which makes it difficult to read, which is not good for a language which is difficult to understand at the best of times. That said it contains good everyday phrases. It would have been much more helpful if it had had a CD so that pronounciation could be practiced.

Those who say this book is out of date do not know what they are saying. How can one claim this book is out of date, and then measure it by another published 40 years earlier? It boggles the mind.

The print is very small, which is unfortunate for a phrasebook to be used on holiday. But what other choice is there?
