Charles Davis' comprehensive walking research, for "Walk! Mallorca (North & Mountains)" guidebook, combined with our own road survey has meant thousands of updates from our popular second edition. Designed for walkers, and other outdoor adventurers, this 1:40,000 scale map covers the region of the Tramuntana from west of Valledemosa to the Formentor and Alcudia peninsulas; Mallorca's main walking region. All the 44 walking routes from "Walk! Mallorca (North & Mountains)" guidebook are clearly highlighted. Wherever possible we have incorporated the waypoint number into the waypoint symbols so everybody can clearly locate their position on the map. Several paths now either disappeared or closed to walkers have been removed from our database so that you will not be led into impossible situations. Datum is WGS84 with a 1 minute Latitude Longitude grid making the map GPS Compatible. In 2003 we asked one of Britain's leading cartographers to advise us on our map design; not just any consultant but council member of the British Cartographic Society Mary Spence. Mary was awarded an MBE in the 2004 New Years Honours List for her services to UK cartography. We've incorporated Mary Spence's recommendations into the design resulting in exceptional clarity. Paper has been replaced by our amazing Super-Durable material, resulting in the clearest, most accurate and toughest map you can buy at any price; a modern classic and perfect companion to "Walk! Mallorca (North & Mountains)" walking guidebook. This 1:40,000 scale topographical map of Tramuntana Mountains and northern Mallorca is printed on a special high density polymer for super-durability.

We used this incredible map with Walk Mallorca North & Mountains by Charles Davis. Both book and map proved to be a bargain, working well on all the routes we managed in a two week October break, but the map is really in a class of its own.Accuracy is brillant, confirmed by my Garmin 76 gps, and the colouring makes all the essential features stand out and easy to read. Easily the best map of the region but it goes even further. Super-Durable it really is being waterproof and seemingly everything proof, a real boon compared to use paper maps that fall apart as soon as you open them; after two weeks intensive use it still folds up like new. Definite buy whichever guide book you are using
