we were well pleased with this handy little compendium from the wonderful Lonely Planet people...made the trip more than just a sun/sea/sit down holiday! Gave us plenty of ideas for exploring, excellent section on Palma too:)

As usual, a good Lonely Planet Guide to Mallorca. I have many LP guides and this follows the same format in terms of content and usefulness! Great ideas for places to go and things to do, with excellent maps. It glosses over the 'tacky' holiday resorts and concentrates more on the rest of the island. A very good buy.

Although this gave helpful background and its information is very detailed and probably pretty accurate too, it does assume you have some knowledge of the area already. So, it's Mallorca (Lonely Planet Country & Regional Guides)probably not the best option if you're a beginner to Mallorca!

Detailed descriptions of some of Mallorca's attractions and geography. Good value and delivered in good time for holiday, although a late order. Well done to all concerned.

A functional guide with no obvious errors or gaps.
I know Mallorca reasonably well but places change and this guide is pretty up to date. We followed a couple of recommendations about where to eat and found them reliable. Read more

Handy book for ones Travels
Good book, lots of useful information and stuff. Places to go etc. Handy to have if you want to explore rather than sit around by the Pool or on the beach all the time. Read more

Factual but hard to read
This book had a lot of facts about Majorca and was helpful but it wasn't the easiest book to read. A lot of text on the page.
