Just a short note to warn that many of the roads in Mallorca have been upgraded/repaired and have now changed their name. For example, the motorway north of Palma to Inca was the PM27. It is now the MA30. Make sure that your map is the new version. Hope this helps someone out there?

If you are hiring a car in Mallorca and need a good, clear map with every tiny road shown (and a lot more besides) then this is the map for you.

I've just bought this map (June 2008) for a trip next month and was pleased to see it's been brought up to date (it's copyright 2007). The motorway extends up to just short of Alcudia.

We had no probs with it, but didn't tour extensively to be fair. The only problem I had was with it's sheer size. It's certainly not cut out for a front seat passenger to peruse as you drive along! The islands split in to half, one half one side, one the other, and when opened out to it's extreme, it pretty much covered our Focus's windscreen! It would have been preferable to have had the whole island on one side, and some more detailed town maps, and a basic island map, on the other, however, the main thing, is it's up to date

Excellent map of the island but printed on both sides and a little difficult to use because the sheet must be at least as big as the island!! well, a metre square anyway.
