As an experienced professional electronics engineer I can confidently say that this is one of the worst plugs I have ever seen. Its supposed to be 10 amp rated but the terminal screws have no washers and are so small you cant wire more than lamp cable to it. Also the cable grip / screws wont accommodate a proper mains cable. Add to this that the pins rock +-45 degrees when the case is off. I had to tin the wire leads and hold the pins in a vice while doing them up! They are still not secure. The only good thing I can say is that these plugs are cheap enough to throw away. Unsafe. Don't use.

Having brought this plug it is impossible to wire up and wish i had not bothered, complete waste of money. There are no washers supplied so it virtually impossible to terminate the live, natural and Earth wires on to the pins. I gave up after 2hrs and will go elsewhere. Do not buy this product!!

Does its job as a plug. It doesn't have to do much but what it does it does well. Hasn't failed on me yet.

Waste of money and unsafe
These plugs are cheap for a reason, they are impossible to wire and unsafe. The screw to secure the wire is to small and unsafe to secure any size wire.

Cheap, but Nasty
'Loop around the screw' fixings for the conductors are suitable for only the smallest of power cables. Read more

3pin kettle type plug
A VERY GOOD PRODUCT EASY TO FIT,WE ARE USING THE 12 PURCHASED IN A CARE HOME AND WE HAVE SOLDERED THE WIRERS TO THE PINS TO PREVENT THE LEADS FROM BEING PULLED OUT.
