The bags are made from easily acquired cost-effective materials using straightforward techniques and come in a range of beautiful shapes that give them a really stunning and unique look. Designs range in skill level, so if you are new to the craft you can start simply, then move on to gradually more challenging designs as your ability increases and your creativity blossoms.
About the Author
Emma Brennan started her own business in 1992, Charlie's Aunt, designing and producing handmade 'vintage inspired' clothing and hats. She is a qualified further education tutor and has taught courses in handbag, accessory and jewellery design. She has also staged fashion shows and given lectures on the historical influences of her designs. She lives in Australia.
