This has been around a couple of years nw, but it still is the best book to get you started in making bears. You will find bear making highly addictive. Great instructions and good workable patterns. A top rating book!

5.0 out of 5 stars Very Easy to Understand, 18 Feb 2010

I like this book; however it is much smaller than my other bear making books, but it has just as much information than my larger books. I like how she tells you how much mohair to buy for the size of bear you want to make all on one page. It is a simple book with a lot of text but there are color plates of bears and also included are the color plates for the three bears patterns. However, there are two pages missing in my used book which show the individual patterns plates for bear two and three (but there is a page that shows all three complete bears). I guess thats one of the bad side of buying used books with patterns included because you just might not get them all, but I am still happy with my book.
