I stumbled on the author's Writers Keep Writing website (writerskeepwriting.com) at the start of the year and so have actually read quite a few of the stories in this collection. This kindle edition just brings them all together.
The stories themselves are superb - slices of quality fiction that as good as they are, hint at much greater work to come. So to have them together in one collection is handy. Low price for good work - I've read so much dross on smashwords etc (as well as few other authors already in print that I won't stoop to name) that I'm very happy to chuck a couple of quid the author's way. Stewart writes with the confidence of a well established author but still has that freshness that only new talent can exude. Dark shades of McEwan which is always going to get my vote. Like the idea of writing a tale every week too.
