This book tackles the complexities of equine foot mechanism and the barefoot trimming method in an easy to understand, factual way allowing you to form your own judgements on whether the trim method he uses is the one for you. If you are thinking of removing your horse's shoes, read this book. It will tell you everything you need to know without moaning about farriers (after all, he used to be one)

What this man has achieved with his natural trimming method is astounding. Anybody who still thinks that his/her horse needs horseshoes because of whatever, get this book get and marvel at the soundness any horse can experience. The best thing is, that at no time will your horse get sore, and many bahavioural and conformational problems might just go away, because your horse can be pain free again. A real eye-opener!

This book came highly recommended and it lives up to expectations. Very easy to understand and Pete Ramey comes across as being a very honest guy who knows what he is talking about.

This is a really old book and there are better bare foot books out there now, I would like to suggest that this is updated!
