'Making a Life, Making a Living' is a wonderful collection of inspirational real-life stories about people who have sought to bring meaning and purpose into their working lives. Each chapter focuses on an individual life story, describing what that person has achieved (e.g. building a successful business that also aims to enrich the local community) and also how he or she got there (e.g. the difficult choices he or she had to make along the way). The book encourages readers to think for ourselves about how we can bring more meaning and purpose into our careers and live a life in sync with personal values.
