I bought this book mainly in the hope to see many pictures, and I was a little disappointed: despite the detailed descriptions of the process of building a house from scratch, the manual is poor on images, and are almost all in black and white.
It is also intended for people already experienced.
However, it is full of practical advice, so it can be useful in any occasion, even if you're building a house in a different style than Georgian.

An excellently wriiten and illustrated book. Very informative, suitable for both novice and experienced woodworker. I have used it extensively over four years of teaching with both students and adults in woodworking classes, it has inspired many to create their own period dolls houses.

This book was not what I was looking for, but was a good starting point for building dollhouses. The pictures were great.
