This book was not what I expected. It was many, many times better!

Books covering the issues of urbanisation can often be extremely bland. Making Cities Work is the opposite; it has produced an amazing coffee table style book with fantastic photography, whilst maintaining an academic approach to the subject matter.

This book would be enjoyed by those who work within the realm of urban planning or design or by those who enjoy a colourful book looking at large collection of cities around the world. I highly recommend this book.
