Dark, but very funky, almost jazzy, some would say 'drum 'n' funk. This has got to be one of the most listenable albums ever made, it makes even the loudest stereo seem weak and feeble with it's dark and alleyway like undertones. Within a day you'll be calling your friends to recommend this fantastic album. The music industry today don't give bands like this enough credit, even though the production is perfect. Buy it, & see what I mean.

Superbad, supercool..Red Snapper re-emerge with one of the darkest sounds around. Being used to the chunky double bass et al, this was a bit of a surprise when it's moody drum beats and shuddering bass scared me from the beginning. Listen to Crease and tell me that the floor doesn't tremble.

Simply brain spanking. Owned this album for quite a while now, thought it deserved my compliments. Since it created its own genres, Making Bones has yet to be beaten in its category. Such a shame Red Snapepr have split up.

Chill-out music with a bit of a bounce
This is the kind of music I love to drive to. Red Snapper albums are generally stimulating without being stressful. I love the drums that they often use to create a good rhythum.

EXCELLENT
This album is absolutely brilliant. It's the type of album you can listen to againand again and never get sick of it. I haven't got a favourite track 'cause their all good.

Best CD bought in 1999
This is the best album I've bought this year ! The Sleepless is one of my fave trax, Bogeyman and Suckerpunch are very good too
