What a fantastic truely inspirational book for make up, would be ideal for both novices and professionals. Fantastic imagery & photography highlight the make up and techniques. Easy to follow steps make it easy to recreate the looks illustrated in the book. The book covers which tools are essential to apply make up, info and tips about false eyelashes, the shadows colour chart that illustrates which colour eyeshadows suit particular eye colours, skin prepping, bronzing etc. Easy to read and inspirational would definately recommend to all my friends. This is the best book i have ever bought! Seriously.

This book really is the Ultimate Guide. Rae is very generous and gives you fantastic tips. I love her no nonsense approach; she is honest and doesn't try to push any particular brand (which is refreshing). I was looking for something that would help me improve my skills to achieve a proffesional finish and introduce me to more looks. I have to say that this has done the trick and friends have already commented on my skills.
Rae's step by step guides are very easy to follow, the layout is perfect and easy to read and the pictures are fabulous. This woman knows what she is talking about.
So if you are looking to really improve your skills this is the book for you, I cannot recommend it enough, buy it.

This book is truly excellent. From the way it is put together, the style of writing, the quality of the photography - everything has been so well considered and finished to such a high standard. It's a joy to read, but much more importantly the information is super useful, fabulously detailed and really, really effective. I would say that any aspiring make up artist, like myself, simply cannot afford to be without this book. I consider it my bible, as it absolutely does what it says on the cover - it is indeed the ultimate guide!

AMAZING GUIDE!
