I am a professional bridal make-up artist in Australia and was compelled to buy this book after seeing it on Amazon. I have to say the make-up is stunning and the instructions are easy to follow. It's always very inspriring to see the work of other make-up artists and gather new ideas. This book would be ideally suited to someone who has a bit of make-up-savvy, i.e. someone who knows how to apply the basics. So many of the brides I meet really don't know their mascara from their blusher! --Mrs VJ Edwards

I decided to do my own makeup for my wedding. My wedding pictures turned out great. My bridesmaids and I looked wonderful! The step by step instructions were easy and a lot of it applies to everyday makeup. The photographs in the book are beautiful as well. This book is so beautiful. The pictures are incredible, so detailed and gorgeous, I love it! The advice and steps are so easy to follow and it's just so amazingly written, you can tell the author/artist is extremely talented. Being a Beauty Therapist and offering Bridal make-up it's always so useful and interesting discovering and researching more about it, and this book is at the top of my list, it's like my Bible! I would say to anyone who is thinking of doing their own Bridal make-up to get this book as it will really inspire you, and maybe give you the confidence to do your own make-up on your special day (with practice!)

I got this book to get an idea of what bridal look I wanted for the wedding day. By this point I had done 3 different trials with different make up artist and wasn't really happy with any of them. This book is full of great pictures and advice. The transformations are amazing. The only thing I wish it had more of was closer shots of the make up colours. It would have been easier to buy the same make up in the book if I could have been able to see the colours better. But overall, a great book for brides and every women who wants to look gorgeous but not overly made up.

This is a wonderful book. It covers all aspects of the makeup process and provides a range of really useful tips. The photographs are beautiful and detailed enough to allow you to really examine the different effects. There are also a lot of really helpful advice on types of makeup which provide the best photographic results and even advice on the best makeup finishes dependant on the time of day you are getting married. There are a good choice of different makeup looks so there should be something to suit everyone. This book covers lots of good basic and intermediate cosmetic make up techniques and tips as well as providing specific wedding makeup ideas. It's a real must have for any bride to be or beginner makeup artist.
