5.0 out of 5 stars awsome, 19 Nov 2009

This review is from: The Maker [DVD] (DVD)
Mathew Modeine is an innocent removal man who along with his pals, not only deliver peoples goods, but also as a side line, re-locate them too at a profit? drugs, double dealings and great action scenes, with a great storyline is a taster of this movie. Thoroughly enjoyed it, kept me guessing all along.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Rewind Button is your friend, 12 July 2001
By Blair Fawcett - Published on Amazon.com
Okay, let's set the record straight. This movie was in concept and script a very awesome choice for the average viewer, but some scenes were elegantly pulled off, and some were just pulled off. The lead character "Josh" was a convincing complicated teenager (except if you read into it, you can tell that JRM is originally irish)and Matthew Modine is a beautifully acted older brother. Now the I already told you that the actors were great and so was the script, but the scenes were jumpy and sometimes hard to catch. Seeing the movie a second time is highly recommended, not only because the movie was wonderful, but to laugh at some pretty funny scenes (aka josh being pulled over by the chick cop).Overall? Highly recommended.

1.0 out of 5 stars The Fast Forward Button is Your Friend, 5 Mar 2000
By A Customer - Published on Amazon.com
Alrighty, here's the truth of this movie...its supposed to be an actiony/drama, but seriously, its FUNNY. I mean really! In normal circumstances, I'd say stay away from this film, but if you're a fan of any of the actors (I'm a JRM fan) then its worth a watch. Don't take it seriously though, because you may hurt yourself or your television, however. Just realize your watching it because you love the actors...

2.0 out of 5 stars wasted cast, 6 Nov 2003
By Michael Bolts - Published on Amazon.com
its about a young boy(Meyers) who falls prey to his older brother(Modine) and he enters into a life of crime. boring to say the least but Modine sorta is good as always and Meyers is sorta alittle pretty boy fanstasy for the ladies but whats the point really. its intersting but never quite adds up and I fell alseep at some point
