Format:Toy
This is a wonderfully practical excursion for children into the world of the rainforest. The visuals are stunning with clear pictures of rainforest animals both in colour and also line drawn. The book has influenced a Year 3 corridor display, with the figures and background being easy to copy from and enlarge. The book would also be great, as intended, for individual use by children, but I think the teacher will find it particularly useful for a rainforest project-highly recommended.

Brilliant book. My daughter (aged 7) is doing a rainforest project at school and this is perfect for show and tell. She throughly enjoyed making this up and it was easy for her to understand.

For a child who is already interested in rainforests, who is doing a school project on them, or in answer to the question "What is a rainforest?", this is the perfect solution. A book with pictures to colour in and cut out to make your own stand-up rainforest, together with enough information to explain what they are and where they are found. You can also learn how to make an appealing jumping frog - surely a winner!
