Review

Full of typography, illustration and photographs of her work and studio, here's hoping Make Your Own Luck is just the first in a series of books to help designers and creatives overcome self-imposed boundaries. --itsnicethat.com, 20th February 2014

Moross' infectious enthusiasm and sheer love for design, coupled with her clear-headed pragmatism and a no-nonsense approach to business render this how-to guide an invaluable source of inspiration for budding entrepeneurs. --Aesthetica Magazine

It's marvellous. --The Guardian, March 2014

Bought it for my Son taking his Degree. Kate Moross is his favourite designer, so nothing but Wow came out of his mouth.

Inspirational work laid out beautifully in this colourful book. Genuinely helpful to read Kate's opinions on design work and education in the arts. Perfect read and a visual feast!

As an illustrator I found this book very inspirational, especially for someone starting out making work or looking for jobs etc. It is very bold, colourful and interesting but doesn't get bogged down with too much detail which I personally really liked. I've now become a big fan of her designs and most of all her work ethic which really comes across in this book. It just shows you that if you want and love something bad enough you'll put in the hard work to succeed.
