My 7 year old daughter received this kit as a birthday present and I thought it would be added to the pile of similar gifts we've had before which have proved much too fiddly and time consuming and were given up quickly. However, after the initial set up (by me of course!) my daughter quickly picked up what she needed to do and I could leave her to get on with it - even though a couple of mistakes were made she quickly started producing a very pretty bracelet with ease!
Since then I've found myself fiddling away with it, my eldest daughter (12) has 'borrowed' the other wheel and is now making herself a bracelet too - though she was amazed that it worked, she couldn't believe that such a simple thing could produce such clever patterns!
For such a cheap product, this would make an excellent stocking filler for any girl (or boy?) aged 6 - 86!

I am very happy with this product it arrived on time and is much better than the other friendship bracelet kits i have bought in the past- the wheel is great and easy to use- you can buy your own thread when the thread they give you runs out so the wheels can be used for years- i definately would buy this again as a gift for a child.

I don't normally write reviews but I am so impressed with this kit I thought I would. The most complicated part is setting up the wheel to start off with but once you get going the bracelet grows quickly and is very effective! It's so easy to do and very addictive. I bought it for my 10 year old daughter and my 15yr old niece loves it to and wants one too!! Excellent value for a toy that actually works!

Friendship Bracelets
This was a good buy for an 11 year old girl. The only down side was flimsy cheap looking packaging. That aside the contents were fine.
