Taylor Momsen is best known for her role as `Little J' or `Jenny' in the hit series Gossip Girl, so some may think that shes trying to follow the path that many other actors and actresses have tried to go down and just get a bit of extra fame by crossing into the music industry. However, when you take a listen to the song and her amazing vocals, you hear her amazing voice and the great catchy rock tune. Many have referenced her voice to that of a young Courtney Love (Taylor is still only 16!), and the song was even Fearne Cotton's record of the week on radio 1 not long ago! The catchy lyrics and hard rocky guitar riffs show that Taylor isn't just another American teenager, but is actually a talented musician and singer that's putting together decent music with a band behind her. The lyrics are very clever and she looks FAB in the video for it. Her Gossip Girl co-stars are also big fans and support her and what she's doing. I really can't wait to hear what she brings out next, and I'm sure there's an album on the way! They played a show in London a few weeks ago, but I really hope that they do a UK tour soon as I'd love to go and see them! So basically, take a listen and buy the song, as in my opinion it's brilliant! Go The Pretty Reckless. ;)

PS - I also WANT her hair. ;)

Well, I never thought I'd fall in love with this song as much as I have. I liked it from the start, but it grows on me with every listen and I think it has to be one of my favourite songs of 2010. Taylor Momsen's voice is so beautiful, definately not what I expected her to sound like, and she is absolutely gorgeous.
This song is quite dark and mysterious, and Taylor is brilliant at putting the emotion into this song with her perfect vocals.
My favourite thing about The Pretty Reckless is the amazing lady who is Taylor Momsen, she is amazing, and I loved her in Gossip Girl and know she's in The Pretty Reckless I love her even more, as music is basically my whole entire life<3
I love the single because its dark and it just sounds seriously great. A fantastic tune!
Its about someone who always critisizes her and she's saying she can't be perfect, they're making her want to die. It starts beautifully with really nice flute notes, then the guitar comes in playing some awesome chords, followed by Taylor's incredible vioce! Its a stunning song with an incredible 'head-banging' beat and it's VERY addictive. I have it on repeat on my iPod ALL the time ;) You'll fall in love with it from the first listen.

Not a fan of Gossip Girls and always (perhaps wrongly) thought Taylor Momsen looked irritating/ spoilt/ moody. I had no idea that it was her singing on this fantastic track until I read the other reviews. There's no denying she has major talent: an absolutley gorgeous voice and a compulsive track. I can't wait for the album and hope the other songs are as good as this one!
