This book takes a step back and provides a refreshingly realistic and practical attitude to the field of telesales. It's more than full of very useful pointers to those wanting to progress in their field, I even found some parts that I myself will definitely be using next week! Also at the price it makes an excellent reference book but I think it would be best used as a sort of guide to the field. If you can spare the cash for a few extra pointers or just a good overview of telesales then this is far better than nearly all of the somewhat overenthusiastic American titles available!

This book, unlike many others covering the subject, takes an honest and practical look at what can be achieved with a properly set up and run Telesales unit. The Author writes with authority and simplicity, going into just about all areas where advice may be needed. There are many books on the market covering this and related fields, many of which contain 'americanised' gimmicks and sales angles which simply do not work. This book is different. Good, plain, practical advice. Well worth reading.
