I bought a lot of relationship books after my recent break up. I had thrown myself into dating and decided to throw myself into dating books too. Of all the ones I bought, I read this one first, and like it the least.
It's a good book, and maybe at 21, I'm too immature for it, but I found it difficult to read, I found myself wanting more answers, and it was a real effort to finish. Other books I've reread several times - not the same desire I had with this book.
One practical tip that it gave me? I can't even think of one. It is so different from the other books I've read that I don't know how to rate it.
Do I know how to make somebody fall in love with me after 90 minutes? No. And after reading some other books in a similar category as this - nor would I want to.
This is a dressed up story of one man and how he got his dream woman - I personally feel a mixture of luck and knowledge in a lot of areas I've never even heard of, and these 'areas' are big in the book. Every time I read a 'story' to demonstrate a point, one of these specialities came up, and every time, I hated this book for not telling me more - it told me to go and do the work myself. I didn't buy the book to do research I wanted answers, not more questions.
Buy it if you feel desperate for love, but I personally feel your money is better off elsewhere.
