Having read some of the other titles in this series and found them excellent, this Guardian Short on memory was a little disappointing. The content is interesting enough, but it's slightly repetitive and doesn't offer too much insight into a subject that really is pretty engrossing, and could have been covered with much more conviction.
Part of the failing of this particular Guardian Short is that it doesn't seem to draw on archive material in the way that other titles in the series do, which rather spoils the enjoyment. It's also pretty darned short - readable in a short commute, which on the one hand is fine, but it's considerably less engaging that a few of the other titles I've really enjoyed.
Here's hoping this is a temporary blip in an otherwise brilliant idea for getting the best from e-book content.
