Book Description

Flower essences are a fast-growing segment of the alternative health industry with good reason! Flower essences promote healing & consciousness with pure natural energy. Try them to experience
• lightness
• ease
• happiness
• reduced stress
• more vitality
• healing of trauma from this & other lives
• release of old emotional & mental patterns
• gratitude & forgiveness.

Flower essences, or flower remedies as they're also known, expand awareness, spirituality, intuition, dream-life, abundance, relationships & possibilities. Great for children & pets, too.

What are flower essences? How are they made? Can you make your own?

You bet you can! It's easy, with no expensive equipment. Find out how in this detailed, step-by-step instructional guide written by an expert practitioner with decades experience, who is also an award-winning author.

This primer answers FAQs such as:
• which flowers to use
• what time of day is best
• how to get the flowers onto the water
• knowing when the essence is ready
• how to bottle, preserve, use & combine the flower essences you've made.
• Even what to do if it rains!

No guide on the subject of vibrational remedies is complete without detailing what to use if you're sensitive to alcohol. This book also includes how to preserve & store homemade flower essences without alcoholic spirits.

Throughout, there are tips on intuition, energy & attuning to the plant spirits, called devas. Includes suggestions for combining your flower essences to make useful remedies to keep these on hand for children, pets & challenges like overwork, leaking auras, hot flashes, insomnia, injuries & more.

One of the challenges of making flower essences is discovering what the essence is useful for. This book gives tips on how to do this intuitively, by observation & by color associations.

There's also a section of descriptions of uses of essences and combinations made from common, easy-to-find wildflowers like buttercups, dandelions, goldenrod, yarrow, mustard.

Flower essences can be combined from popular garden flowers like echinacea, bleeding heart, peonies, hollyhocks, star-of-Bethlehem, roses, iris & foxglove.

Excellent essences can be made from easily grown annual or perennial flowers, even if you're a garden beginner. Sunflowers, zinnia, cosmos & pansies are simple from seeds or plants purchased from a garden center. Daylilies & daffodils are easy to find in garden stores, & make beautiful, low maintenance additions to a landscape for many years to come.

Herb gardeners will appreciate learning how to make healing essences from sage, rosemary, marjoram, thyme, dill, chamomile, basil, comfrey & other herbs.

Even vegetable flowers like tomatoes, cucumbers, peas, peppers, garlic, squash & scallions make useful flower essences.

Over 25 pages of useful information to empower you in your own healthy lifestyle, healing, spiritual & personal growth. Illustrated with photos.

I have always wanted to learn about how to make flower essences in my own home, but always felt most books were daunting with too much or not enough information. This book is easy to read and understand and goes beyond to explain flower color, types, smells etc. so you really feel well educated in taking this on yourself.

Was expecting more of a book, not a few pages. Although it was a nice compile of the authors personal take on some of the flowers, pretty much all of the information regarding making your own flower essences can be found online free of charge. I am still pleased however that this sort of information about flower essences is spreading and becoming more popular. So if it happens through mediums like this than all the better!
