This DVD video will guide you step by step through the process of sewing together your first corset. Sew along in real time, pause, replay and see exactly how its done without having to interpret instructions from a book; this easy step-by-step video guide takes the guess work out of making a corset. Also great as a reference to refer back to you can easily skip to the following chapters via the menu screen: Inserting the Busk, Inserting the Waist Tape, Applying Bone Casing, Inserting the Eyelets, Applying Bias Binding, Finished Corset.
Also included are two PDF books on disk: The Corset Making Manual and the Corset Pattern Compendium.
The Corset Making Manual - Gives written instructions with colour illustrations on how to make a corset including making a modesty panel (lacing guard) and altering a mock-up as well as where to get the best online materials and tools.
The Corset Pattern Compendium - Contains 10 corset patterns, 7 modern and 3 historic with full details on how to scale up and re-size them to an individuals specific measurements. Unlike the patterns in other books these are drawn on a centimeter grid to make scaling easier and have colour coded waist, bust and hips lines to make sizing much easier too.
This two disk course is designed to provide the complete beginner with full tuition on constructing professional looking, well fitting corsets.

I have a passion for corsets....and have always wanted to know how to make them for a clothing label that I am looking at doing.
I came across this little bundle and thought it would be awesome and very informative.
And it is!!!
It has given me the insight into basic courset construction and not to mention put me in touch with some great suppliers of corset manufacturing materials which has also lead onto other sites that do pattern, and materials...etc, the list goes one.
I do have one little flaw about it though....
This DVD/CD combo gives you the info on how to custom make the corsets and what measurements to take....however, it doesnt give you in the instruction on how to devide the total measurements between the pieces of the patterns.
Other than that it is a very good little kit and I couldnt have been happier.
If your wanting to get into corset making either for yourself or a business...i highly recommend this.

I bought this DVD for my girlfriend, who wanted to get into corset making, and she absolutely loved it, and is finding it really easy to follow. Will definitely consider buying more from this seller :-D

waste of money
It's far too expensive for what it is. Very very basic sewing, most stages were skipped which would make a complete beginner's attempt in making a corset from scratch impossible. Read more
