Its for an older child than my 9 month old but we have been reading it to her for months now, we just tell the basic story and pull the tabs for the pop outs which she likes. The pop outs are delicate but its only thin card so you just have to be careful. Its good as you can see lots and embellish the story as much as you like. On the last page we say bye bye to the animals and we are waving at the pages. A good buy.
