I purchased this set of books among others of Maisyfor my three years old girl and she loves them. They are small enough that she can hold them on her own and since she is an early reader she can read them by herself. I would recommend them though they are quite small for a present.

Handy solid feeling little books for nursery bag - keeps my 20 month boy happy seeing stories about maisy, charlie and the gang when we are out and about plus books offer informative teaching.
