Amazon's synopsis for this DVD doesn't do it justice. We were thrilled to see, for only �5.97 (!), we had lots of extras for our daughter (2.5 years) to enjoy. Plus, you can use the disk in a DVD-ROM drive.

You get - 10 episodes of Maisy (all brilliant and educational); 16 songs to sing along to; some excellent games to play (hide and seek, dressing Maisy, spot the difference, farmyard sounds, and counting to 10). Good, eh? ALSO - if you have a DVD-ROM drive you can print out two pictures of Maisy's farmyard to colour in.

I know you will be pleased. Buy it!

My three and two year old toddlers, as well as my 6 month old son enjoy every second of this DVD. It's especially entertaining and resourceful in terms of helping children learn English in a very fun way. The DVD edition is exceptionally a much better buy than the VCR versions, since it provides lots of extras, such as interactive games and songs, which also teach about numbers, colors, shapes and the seasons of the year. Maisy's farm guarantees a fun pastime not only for children but also for parents, making it easy to communicate the stories to your child during the viewing. I'd strongly recommend this DVD especially to multilingual families. It'll save your time on trying to teach your child another foreign language.

I really cannot praise this item (and other Maisy videos) highly enough - and should add that I have never been moved to write a review for anything else.

I bought this for my daughter when she was about 20 months old and I really do believe that it helped her speech development as it is so simple and easy to follow for young toddlers. She was totally absorbed by it from the moment I first put it on and would have watched it on a constant loop if I had allowed her to!

Top marks.
