Another in the excellent series of lift-the-flap, pull-the-tab Maisy adventures. Somehow it lacks the humour of Maisy Goes to Bed, and the suspense(!) of Where's Maisy's Panda?. Our 18 month old daughter also seems to have more trouble with the tabs in the Playground book, and I can see it will need repairing before long. As ever though, it's beautifully illustrated and the book itself oozes quality with bright colours and clean white paper.

We love Maisy! 4 Aug. 2008
By Samama - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Hardcover
We love Maisy and her friends, who are always having sweet adventures similar to those of all toddlers. We have A LOT of Maisy books in our home, but this has got to be one of the best. It includes all of the things that we do when we go to the playground and the park, and has sturdy pull tabs on each page that have kept our son entertained since he was 1. He's now 2 and a half. I actually tried to find this book to give as a gift last Christmas and had no luck, so I'm glad to see that it's in print again. Yeah Maisy!

cute little book 6 Jan. 2012

Birghtly colored just like all the Maisy books. My major complaint is the use of flimsy pull tabs. Without supervision a young child will unintentionally destroy the pull tab mechanisms. The books with stiffer paperboard that a child just lifts up like a little door is a much better idea for a 2-4 year old.

Maisy Comes Through Again 24 Jan. 2010
By Karen Keyte - Published on Amazon.com

My 1 1/2 year old niece loves lift the flap books - reading needs to be interactive for her. The Maisy books, with their bright primary colors, adorable characters and easily identifiable situations (going to the playground, going to the farm, etc.) fit the bill perfectly. A winner!

We love Maisy 1 July 2011

Maisy is my grandson's favorite. He is just two, but he'll sit quietly for a Maisy story. He loves opening the flaps.
My daughter loves it but... 21 Nov. 2012

This is one of my 2 year old daughter's favorite books (5 stars) and one of my least favorite books (1 star) so I combined to give it 3 stars. There is no story line at all. My daughter likes to pull the flaps to see the actions on each page but it is not sturdy enough for a toddler and within a short time at least 3 of the pages are torn and no longer work. This is with her "reading" the book only when she is with me!! We have several lift the flap books and I know most are a bit precarious but this has been one of the worst in my opinions.
