I have owned this book since my childhood and I am totally and utterly hooked! I really have lost count of the number of times I have read it and there is so much to see on each page - the pictures are so detailed - down to newspaper stories! The Maisie books take you into an Edinburgh where cats take the place of people, and a very fine place it is to be! Highly recommended!
