Having just purchased a Maine Coon kitten, I was looking for a dedicated book on the breed. This one surpassed my expectations for a paperback of this size, as it is packed with lots of useful information, written in a clear and concise manner. Obviously written by an expert on the breed.

As a new owner of a Maine Coon, I found this book really informative and easy to understand, it covers everything you could ever wish to know about this breed. I'm sure I will refer to this regularly in the future. Well worth buying.

"Maine Coon Cats" is a beginner's manual for someone that has never owned cats. It has a few interesting insights on Maine Coons but mostly focuses on cat care in general. It does have a well researched section on the common medical problems in cats.
