Got this for my brother for Xmas and it entertained him for hours!! So much so the only time he put it down was because his phone battery died! Looks a bit cheap if I'm honest it does the job it was designed to do. Ok for the price paid.

Sturdy toy that is very easy to use and get ipod in and out of it you follow the instructions. Feel ipod is secure inside and not likely to get damaged or fall out but need to be careful when putting it in the case or taking out. Needed to download the game which was easy to find and quick to do. Game is excellent, we loved seeing flying aliens in our lounge - great fun and a bit different to the usual space games. There is also a feature to have a space background rather than the room you're in.
For some reason we were sent the french version by amazon which was very disappointing as instructions were only in french. The picture showed the english box. This is why I have given it 4 stars not 5.
Overall a really nice toy that appeals to my boys (5&8). Toy is completely mechanical, no batteries needed which is a nice change too.

Have you ever wondered how well you'd cope if aliens invaded the earth, and you were forced to fend them off using some sort of firearm? Well now you can find out.
The firearm in question is the Appblaster - a plastic gun to which you can attach your iPhone, combining it with the Apptoyz Alien Attack app for plenty of alien-pulverising fun. The aliens in question are silly little green and yellow caterpillar-type things (some of which appear to be wearing boxing gloves), which dart drunkenly towards you from all angles and must be picked off to gain points.
Essentially, the Appblaster is like a really modern arcade game; the app combines with the camera of your iPhone to create an augmented reality shoot `em up, giving you a view of your surroundings and combining the real world with a cartoon invading alien force that pops up on your screen.
The game is very easy to set up (you just download the app for free and attach your iPhone to the top of the gun - where the sight would be) and even easier to begin using; within seconds you'll be swivelling frantically around, desperately scanning the room for incoming extra-terrestrials.
You can also take the gun out with you and try the game in different places, meaning you'll have an unlimited number of locations in which you can save the human race.
The only downside to using the gun outdoors is that if any concerned member of the public happens to see you crouching in the bushes of the local park, staring twitchily around while you clutch tightly to a plastic gun, they might feel the need to alert the local authorities.
