So after 8 years one of the best if not THE best tv shows ever produced comes to a proper end.
For fans of the show we were aware that season 7's last episode "Limbo" was ment to be the end but after fan and network pressure Selleck & co brought it back for a final season.
I gave this season 5 stars but i do feel that it has a slight rushed feeling over it,espically compared to season 7 which was a real highpoint of the show's history..
However that is a very small point..Season 8 containes one of the best shows"Legend of the lost Arc" in which Selleck finally gets to play Indiana Jones(kind of).
The show ends with a double episode called Resolutions.It is different to other episodes,no voiceover..bulk of it filmed in DC but it works as you do get the feeling of something special...
I won't ruin it for thsoe who haven't seen it but it is a fitting ending...
I despair if they are still going ahead with the Magnum movie without Tom Selleck and i think the bulk of the shows fans will be the same way...Enjoy this season as it is most likely going to be the last time we see TS play that wonderful character...

Tied up lots of bits...a good ending. It's not often you can get right through to the 8th series, and still be enjoying this blast from the past.

Magnum Pi
Big fan of Magnum Pi. One of my favorites from the 80's. If you enjoyed watching this as a kid, treat yourself and take a trip down tv memory lane.
