Craeted a Spark! 30 Sep 2010
Format:Hardcover
This was the first technical book I ever was exposed to and had a profound influence on me. Those first experiments have led me to being able to earn a living in the field of electronics. The experiments would no doubt send a health and safety worker of today into an apoplectic frenzy - see the picture of a child ripping apart a battery with a pliers - but they were an important part of my intellectual development. There are similar books available today but this was the one that got me started.

I had this book given to me some 40 years ago which got me interested in "electrics".

I recently purchased a copy for a friends young nephew who, like I did is showing interest in how things work at a young age.

The information in the book is timeless however these days may be more thought should be given to health and safety!
