I have a pair of these in the passenger footwell of my truck, holding a 3D-cell maglite in place. They grip the torch well, and it has never popped out under any duress.

I'm sorry even I can't find anything interesting to write about clamps for a torch....
They fit the torch well and screw to the wall, what more can you say, oh yes, and they are black...like the torch...

Keeps my Flashlight handy...

I have a set of these mounting brackets bolted to my garage workbench and can always count on finding my Maglite flashlight just where I left it - safe and secure. The plastic seems a bit fragile, but in the two years that I have used them, I have never had a failure. The flashlight securely snaps into place and is not in danger of falling out.
If I were to do it again, I'd buy a set of these in a minute. It functions well and does the job for which it was intended.

I have used these before, but the price here was great. Mag has figured just the right tension on the clips to hold the flashlight secure, yet make it easy to grab often. I have used these for several years. I have tried others, but these are the best.

The price at Amazon makes it a no-brainer purchase to go along with your Maglite. I've installed three of these around the house. After six months of active use, I have not observed any signs of cracking or yielding in the plastic.
A few reviewers have mentioned that they have managed to break a few of these, and this might be caused by improper installation. It is imperative that, when using two clips for a flashlight, that they are perfectly aligned. If they are out of line by even a few millimeters they will require much more force to place and remove the flashlight. Alternatively, using just one clip for at least the 3 cell lights seems to work just fine as well.
Overall, I am satisfied with this product and consider it to be a good value at the advertised price.
