I am most disappointed with Photostory. It is fine until you burn to disk. When played back the quality is awful so much so that I would not give a disk out to anyone. I have tried many things to resolve the problem, even putting the programme onto another computer but the results are the same.If it wasn't for the fact that it is so difficult to return such programmes and get money back, that is the path I would be taking. I have not had the problem with other similar programmes.

After reading several critical reviews of this product AFTER having ordered it on amazon, I was quite worried. However, as a complete novice in this field and a technophobe I can say that Photoshow IS intuitive and ridiculously easy to use. It does take longer than 3 minutes but a little playing around with it soon pays dividends.

I tested various Slideshow software offerings and this was the most comprehensive. As I already use Magix Edit Pro Plus for video editing, much of this program was quite intuitive. One can incorporate still pictures and videos, with a decent menu system and a good choice of effects. Only drawback is that this "Standard" version does not support the burning of Blu Ray discs, only DVD.
I had to upgrade to the "Deluxe" version for Blu Ray support. I have always found Magix email support very good.

A great product
I enjoy making DVD presentations of holiday and event photos. I have tried many products, but this one is definitely the best. It does what it says on the tin, and is easy to use.

no good
I have the 6 version which on xp was great when I changed to windows7 did not work well. So bought this version it has less projects and half do not work. very un happy
